Chambord, the classic French press coffee maker, is truly an original design from the fifties. We continue to produce it today with the same meticulous craftsmanship as we did back then. The frame and lid are constructed from steel and undergo multiple chrome plating processes to achieve a durable, shiny surface that will withstand years of heavy use.

One notable change in our production process since the fifties is our dedication to environmentally-friendly manufacturing standards, particularly during the chrome plating phase. The black CHAMBORD polypropylene handle has a matte finish, providing a comfortable grip while also enhancing the timeless quality of the design.

The French press system remains the simplest and best way to brew a delicious cup of coffee. Using fresh, coarse ground beans and water at the optimal temperature of 92-96 degrees Celsius brings out the full flavor of the coffee beans. It's essential to ensure the grind size, coffee amount, and grounds tamping are all correct to achieve the proper brew pressure.

It's worth noting that the extraction of espresso will vary based on the grind size and quantity, requiring adjustments to achieve the desired results. Before first use, wash the Chambord in warm, soapy water and be sure to dry it thoroughly.
